Christmas Brunch - Ritz Carlton

Brunch is a big deal in Bahrain. Every friday, just about every hotel does a brunch from 12:30-3:00. This particular brunch lasted until 4:00, which was perfect because you need that much time to navigate around all the food. Here's pictures of the beautiful Ritz Carlton. As you can see, it was very elegant. The remote control picture is in the restroom, where you can have a front or back splash and then a dry...eww They also had heated seats in the haha. Aside from that, the food was amazing. The gentleman with the tray is serving us wassail or eggnog in wine glasses. The eggnog was good, but tasted like khalua instead of brandy. The desserts were elegantly decorated and the seafood was delicious. I couldn't beleive how much seafood they had, but it was cut in half for you, so all you had to do was enjoy and eat it and not worry about cutting through any shells. They had a sushi bar, foie gras bar, coffee bar, seafood bar, appetizer bar (which included many pates, salad and antipasti), ice cream bar, dessert bar with two different chocolate fountains, dim sum, dishes from all different countries like Italy, France and India, a huge cheese and bread area and a meat carving station with prime rib. I didn't even make it to the meat, I was way too full. The price included unlimited house wine and champagne. Santa paid a visit to our table to say Merry Christmas. They had a kid's area so you didn't have to be bothered with any little kids running around. Everything was done so well, it was nice to have this for our Christmas day entertainment.

  1. Hahaha! Michael likes the front and back splash remote. He's inquiring if it's only in the ladies room! ;-) Miss ya!
