In Bahrain, the fabric is so cheap, you can buy silk for next to nothing almost. Since the malls are very expensive, people tend to buy fabrics and have a seamstress make clothes for you. You can pick out anything you want from a magazine that you have and they will make it for you and it fits perfectly!! Men can also get tailor-made suits as well. I think for these dresses I paid about $5 for the fabric and about $10 for the labor for each dress. Much better than paying $100 per dress in the mall.
